Intelligence and Wisdom in the Age of AI Welcome to the Age of AI! An amazing moment in the evolution of our species. It forces us to explore the tension between Human wisdom and Artificial Intelligence. The story of AI isn’t a new story, and it’s not a story about tech; it’s a deeply Human story and one that’s as old as time. In this talk I explore greed, our loss of community and connection and our loss of control. These questions cannot be answered by looking down at our devices, but by looking up at the ancient stories encoded in our stars. We need to all be part of the conversation about our future, technical and non-technical Humans alike, so we can actively shape this future, rather than allow it to happen to us. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organised by a local community.
